Pixel skin resurfacing treats a variety of common skin concerns including acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, rough skin texture, sun damaged skin, melasma and other forms of hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and surgical scars. Pixel can be performed on the face, neck, chest and most other areas of the body.
How it works
The laser creates many tiny holes in the skin, removing a part of the top layer of skin while leaving the surrounding skin cells intact to serve as a reservoir for rapid healing. This process stimulates new collagen growth to smooth and tighten the skin. Your skin continues to make collagen for 6 months after a Pixel treatment.
Here are some benifits of pixel resurfacing:
- Improves Heavily Damaged Skin
- Stimulates Long-Term Collagen Production
- Improves Skin Texture and Ton
- Gives Immediate Results
You might find mild redness & swelling for 1-2 days. The skin usually begins to flake on days 3 to 4. Your skin is headed by day 5. Although there may still be some redness.
Pixels are done as frequently as 1 month apart.
